The Problem Blankplock

We have had the problem of picking blanks for a while, and what causes it is a simple issue that only affects the Zebra Scanners. I figure out how to recreate the problem manually and on purpose, so here is

Here is a photo of the interface.

If you disconnect or drop connection for some reason during picking, the order will complete with whatever is in the Serial number field, the Zebra scanner does not automatically lock your order if you disconnect or crash, but it does on the PC client! This is why we never had this problem before.

So how do you pick blanks?

To continue, we have to hit OK on the touch screen. (Arrow)
You can’t use the keyboard and hit “Enter”, we have to press that OK button.

See the Barcode icon next to the field to enter the Serial number, dangerously close to the OK button?

If my fat fingers hit that barcode icon, the program crashes, and you’ll return to the login screen. If the serial number is incorrect, you will get a blank pick. We have a QR-code on all ATVs which are easier to scan, and they always have a X in the beginning of each serial number, when we have to remove it, sometimes you manage to hit the barcode icon, and the program crashes, and we get a blank pick.
